Return or Repair

Reliable and quick

If you wish to return an item to us or arrange for an item to be repaired, there are two different ways in which you can do this:

  1. If you purchased the item from our on-line shop, you can use our convenient on-line process.
  2. To return items ordered by phone, fax or e-mail, please contact us first of all on +41 (0)44 944 99 70, e-mail: service@distrelec.com or fax +41 (0)44 944 99 79.

Return Period

Return deadlines apply from the date of dispatch or collection. The date of the postmark or in-person return determines adherence to these deadlines.

10 days right of return

Subject to the exceptions below, products ordered via our webshop, email, fax or telephone can be returned within 10 working days. We only accept returns of unused products in their original packaging with all accessories. The original packaging must not be damaged.

The following products are excluded from the right of return:

  1. Electronic Software Licences (ESD)
  2. Special procurement items
  3. Calibrated articles (credit note only for articles without calibration)
  4. Material cut to size

Return costs

We do not bear the return costs, unless Distrelec is at fault. After receipt of the RMA number, it is possible to bring the article to our collection desk free of charge.

General

Returns can only be accepted if an RMA number is noted on the return. You will receive the RMA number by telephone or e-mail.All packages without an RMA number will be returned to the sender immediately. Please make sure to enclose a copy of the delivery note or the invoice so that we can easily match your return to the order placed.

Using the online process

  1. Log into your customer account and click on "Order & Returns Manager".
  2. All your orders are listed in the "Order History". You can return all delivered items. All orders that have been completed and already dispatched have the status "Shipped".
  3. The ordered items including quantities are included in the "Detailed order" area. Go to the respective order and click on "Return / Submit complaint about item". Select the item in question and send us the reasons of the return. Please note: If a return includes several items, you must repeat this process for each item to be returned.
  4. Now click on "Continue". Once Distrelec receives the completed online form, one of our service employees will contact you as soon as possible.
