Fastening clamps are hardware devices that are used to create non permanent joints by mechanically joining two or more objects together to prevent movement or separation. They are very useful in situations where joints will later need to be disassembled without causing any damage to the joined components. This includes, for example, building scaffolding towers to undertake building work, where the frame will only be set temporarily and checked daily whilst in use, then removed and re-assembled elsewhere.
