The connector sits in a durable thermoplastic housing that protects against changes in temperature. It has a two-way solder connection and a gold-plated copper alloy charging ring that ensures effective conductivity while protecting against corrosion. A temperature-resistant silicone finish prevents the gasket from shrinking or cracking.
