Process displays and controllers are able to show a variety of different sets of information depending upon the process being monitored. Typical uses are for measuring temperature, process progression and frequency indications. Inputs for process displays are based upon their type. Temperature controllers have a number of analogue thermocouple input options rated at 0 – 100 mV and will operate on both AC and DC at between 10 and 260 V. Output is via two SPST relays, rated at 5A (250VAC or 30 VDC). Process controllers are more adaptable with process, temp, and frequency displays available. They can be programmed via the front panel and include the capacity to handle further inputs for more applications. Counting range is -19999 to 99999 with a two-colour display. Units are IP 66 compliant on the front panel and can operate within a temperature range of -10 to +55 °C. Displays and controllers are available from a number of manufacturers including Carlo Gavazzi, Jumo and Kubler.
